La mañana me recibió con un bello paquete de Amazon. En el venía "sunday at  devil dirt" de Isobel Campbell y Mark Lanegan. Austera sobriedad que supera por mucho en ambición y estatura a los últimos 3 discos de Belle & Sebastian, y sí contara el "Ballad of the Broken Seas" que también es un disco soberbio, pues ya no se donde quedarían los escoceses. No lo malinterpreten, adoro a Belle & Sebastian, solo que su música ya no emociona como antes, mientras que estos trabajos de colaboración entre Isobel y Mark son sensibilidad pura, como una herida abierta a la que le vacías una botella de whiskey. Son discos, que como los primeros de Belle & Sebastian, no van a envejecer jamás. Hay un corazón detrás de ellos.

Podría volverme alcohólico si eso me garantizara una voz como la de Mark Lanegan.
